Hello! I’m Sohan Tamang, and this is where you get a glimpse
into the journey that shaped me.
My story begins with my grandfather, who left Nepal at the tender age of 12 and settled in Malda, India, where he built a life and a family. My father, born and raised in Malda, followed in his footsteps as a school teacher and a yoga trainer. He married a Bengali woman, my mother, and I was born, blending the rich cultures of Nepal and Bengal.
Growing up, I often faced questions about my identity, caught between two worlds. I spent my childhood in Malda, exploring the outdoors, devouring books, and discovering a passion for storytelling. I dabbled in photography, videography, sketching, graphic design, and more. My early content focused on documentaries about social issues and geopolitics, but academic pressures in Siliguri led me to pause.
Now, in 2025, I’m back with a new mission: to share my personal journey, the lessons I’ve learned, and the stories that matter to me. This channel is more than just content; it’s a community for those who value authenticity, growth, and a little bit of humor along the way.
